CONSTRUCTION
PROJECT MANAGEMENT

A strong telecommunications infrastructure background coupled with the desire to serve as a contributive cog in the construction team provides the skills necessary to drive a project to successful completion.
We understand the importance of superior foresight, regarding the course of the construction phases. To possess such foresight, it is imperative that a Project Manager and Designer's background include real-world experience.
Often times, the client's worst nightmare is determining whether or not a space is adequate to facilitate the requirements of their precious infrastructure. The AB&Y Group will work with you to assess whether or not a space is capable of facilitating a Data Center, Equipment Room, Telecom Room, or broom closet.
FACILITY FEASIBILITY STUDIES
The AB&Y Group has extensive experience in the renovation and relocation of IT facilities from the telecom space to massive utility-serving data centers. Disruption of imperative business processes can be catastrophic and often times, the effort must be completed in a live environment.
These efforts require precise evaluation, planning, and execution, and tenacity. The client must be able to rely on these qualities from their Technology Consultant, and we are confident in our ability to deliver, and have the experience to prove it.
DESIGN BUILD
A keen understanding of the entire construction process, from the initial discovery to the final deliverables of any ITS, is absolutely crucial to construction success. With over 25 years of design-specific experience, The AB&Y Group possess ITS savvy to achieve the goals set forth by the Design Build Team.
Studies show that a properly managed D/B effort can shorten construction schedules and lessen unit-cost than the traditional design-bid-build projects. There are cases where the cost savings in time and capital are amounts equal to, or greater than, our fees.

With over 25 years of estimation experience, the AB&Y Group provides our clients with accurate, sensible, and credible budgetary figures. Absolute comprehension, regarding all facets involved in the construction of an ITS, is key in providing the Design Team with true budgetary figures.
In order to provide each client with adequate numbers, we remain in tune, and intimately involved, with ITS infrastructure implementation experts, manufacturer representatives, and distribution partners. We believe that a firm's ability to derive an accurate budget, leans heavily on having a finger on the pulse of the industry.

STANDARDIZATION
The AB&Y Group will collaborate with your technology team in the development of a Standards and Code-compliant ITS specification or Corporate Standard.
Our intimate knowledge of the BICSI Standards and Codes allow us to provide clients with a strategic technical roadmap that facilitates the technology requirements, facility modifications, and ITS development for current and future requirements.
IMPLEMENTATION SERVICES
Implementation Services Package offers a unique opportunity for the client to ask, "Hey AB&Y, can you take my order and hand me the keys when you're done?" We'll agree, it's rare, and we'll also agree that it doesn't seem very likely for a firm to allow a "consultant"' to drive the entire project, much less have management approve it. You might just consider letting AY Systems do some heavy lifting.
The AB&Y Group can provide an unbiased third party inspection and certification for numerous types of installations at various phases of the construction effort, or in existing infrastructures. Whether your firm or client is constructing a new facility or considering utilizing an existing installation, our team can provide a professional and precise analysis.
INFRASTRUCTURE INSPECTION & CERTIFICATION | COMMISSIONING
The deliverables will include feasibility of the media and connectivity to support the requirements of the desired network. In addition, a survey can be performed to confirm whether pathways and spaces of the installation conform to local and national codes, as well as installation and performance standards set forth by TIA/EIA.
Our experience as Technicians and Project Managers in the ITS field have provided us with the opportunity to gain an intimate familiarity with the operation of test equipment for certification and troubleshooting, for both fiber optic and copper cable plants.
